Range Closed from damage from storm on 09/07/2023

Notice, Range damage from A storm / possible tornado on 09/07/2023 , It appears that a tornado hit the range today, There is much of the roof on the long side rifle range torn off and 100% of the roof on the short/ pistol side completely gone, it looks like the box car and conex roof is ok at this time. The fence and the gate to the range is also severely damaged. There is sheet metal roofing strewn all over the property and across bayou Herring road, Power lines are down as well . To prevent anyone from being injured We are temporarily Closing All Range Access until we can get some of this cleaned up to prevent anyone from downed power lines and damage to vehicles tires and debris such as sharp metal, Nails and other debris that someone may step on and injure themselves, We had our contractor working at the range today when this storm hit so he and Dave Wendell are temporarily securing the gate and fence to the property as good as possible, Please watch the PSC website for further updates on the accessibility to the range, Thank you for your patience and help spreading the word.
